Letters to Baby

Dear Baby

You are definitely starting to grow huge now. According to all these apps and books I have you're about the size of a Papaya, roughly 9 inches long and weighing about a pound. I guess you feel a little squished in there with all this growing and no room to do it in! Your kicks and bumps and rolls tell me so anyway..
I had my first stranger ask about you last night at work. This cute old lady at one of my tables stops me on her way out and says "So is that a little baby bump I see?" and you know what, I wasnt even depressed at the fact that I'm now so big all my clothes are tight enough for strangers to ask questions, I was too excited at the opportunity to talk about you! I love the joy babies bring to not only the mum but to others that know them. Baby girl you are so loved already, you really are.

My favourite thing to do when I wake up and before I go to bed is feel you moving around. You never seem to want to kick when your daddy has his hand on my belly though, cheeky little thing..  Feeling you move around has seemed to replace all other sources of excitement though. I'm just waiting for the day when your feet are big enough to kick my ribs.. But I promise to still love you through the pain.


You're the best little baby, keep growing big and strong ok :)

Letter to Baby

 

Dear little baby girl,

 

You have been wriggling around like crazy the past few weeks, and finally letting your daddy feel your kicks too. We are so excited you are finally in our lives, you are already so loved and I think you know it.

 

 

 

I cant lie, you've been pretty spoilt so far. We have recieved quite a lot of gifts for you so far, most from people we hardly know. Your grandma (she wants you to call her nana by the way) has already bought you your entire wardrobe of clothes and Im pretty sure she wont stop there.

 

 

You can be a bit cheeky at times too, like deciding to kick and wriggle at all the wrong times. Today while your daddy and I went to the temple you decided you wanted to roll around and poke me distracting me horrendously and making me need to use the potty real bad. But its ok, because I still think you're cute.

 

You also seem to like the sound of music, whether it be a piano or music thats playing in the background.
I often find myself sitting there thinking about what you're going to be like. You'll be a spunk for sure, but I wonder what kind of things youre going to enjoy doing. Reading and running like your mum or playing video games and eating Mac n Cheese like your dad? Will you have his eyes or my hair? I guess we will know soon enough :)
Only 132 more days to go if you come on time! Oh you'd better come on time..

The M & P's Engagements

 

So I got to do something awesome a few months ago.

 

I got to take engagements photos for Maryse and Patrick!

 

And now that they have already made their invitiations I've decided that I'm going to put all the other photos of these cuties up here for the world to see :)

These guys were the best to photograph. All I did was just stand in a corner and press a button, the rest was all them :)

 

They are going to be the cutest newlyweds in all of history.
